Well, I've done my first couple of real life exchanges. One of the Home Educators I meet up with had some spare tomato plants, and as I didn't buy any seeds to start my own off, i thought it would be too late, but there was the offer, and I've got three lovely plants! (I would have given her a lift to the next group outing in return, but that didn't happen, so I'll think of something else!) I then had a chat with another Home Ed'er who was about to buy soil and compost. I'm making a pond and have a large compost heap, so I'll be giving some of that to her. She's offered to give me some seed potatoes (which I also haven't bought yet!) so all in all a good gardening week.

Anyone else swapping out there?
