Hmmm. I'm a daughter to a formidable (in a good way) mother and a funny, tender father. I'm the big sister to four little (now not so little) brothers, which gives me a good line in Rugby chit-chat (and really blue jokes). I'm wife to Steve, he's north to my south and cheese to my chalk, but somehow we get along fine, although I am jealous of his unfeasably long eyelashes (wasted on a man). I'm mum to a "big boy" (5), a little girl (nearly 3) and a tiny-fella (9 weeks and counting). I keep having more babies so that I can take time off to be at home with my other children, but when my maternity leave runs out, I work full time in one of the more useful bits of the British civil service. Do I have time to actually be me? Well when I am being me - I listen to Radio 4 at home, and Radio 2 in the car, read the Guardian (if I get time) and the Observer and New Internationalist Magazine. I vote (not saying for whom, but at least I vote)! I'm a paid up member of Greenpeace, Amnesty International and the Soil Association and can write a good protest letter, but for the most part my marching days are over. My indulgences are a monthly reflexology session and a regular personal yoga practice. If I get the time I like to bury myself in a really good book - and one day I'd like to write one and have it published. I'm into 'alternative' therapies, organic food, and the great outdoors and I'd like to be able to say I'm into sustainable living - but I'm not sure my life-style would stand up to close scrutiny. If I had a motto it would be "No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should." If I had another motto it would be "There's always more room in the fridge." Rachael
