The Conker Exchange is an international network of women. We used to have other women to call on - mothers, grandmothers, sisters and aunts were never too far away. But now we can and do move away from our family, sometimes by choice. Sometimes across continents. Women have a lot to offer each other, whether it is a skill, an experience to share, support in times of crisis, information or a joke. In today's society, women can often find themselves isolated from like-minded people. Our neighbours have different work hours, are in a different phase of life, often are known only by sight and are not available in times of trouble. We come up against many situations in which we would love to pop home and ask our female family and friends for advice. Staying in touch can prove to be difficult, phone calls across time zones are impractical and letters cumbersome. But the internet is proving to be a medium that allows women to stay in touch, share life, ask questions and make new friends. But more than that, it allows us to work together with other like minded women to provide a new and exciting way to live and work.

For now, we have support forums open for all aspects of a woman's life, such as: health and fertility, pregnancy and birth, also early childhood and a general chat forum. As our membership expands we will introduce new forums for support and discussion. Also we will create permanent pages of information useful to help you towards your goals.
