Apple and Cinnamon Slices |

125g, 5oz, 1 1/4 cups self raising flour
150g, 6oz 2 1/3 cups porridge oats
175g, 7oz 1 3/4 cups soft brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
175g, 7oz 3/4 cup margarine, melted
2 medium cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
combine flour, oats, cinnamon and sugar
add melted margarine and mix thoroughly
put half the mixture in a greased 27.5cm x 17.5cm (11x7") baking tin and press down
cover with sliced aples, and then with the rest of the mixture
bake in the oven at gas mark 4, 180 C, 350F for 25 minutes. allow to cool before cutting into slices.
