  • WWF More Fish Campaign newsletter - January 2012
    As part of its campaign to see ambitious reform of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), WWF is calling on the European Parliament to exert its co-decision powers in order to achieve the best possible reform.

    A newsletter is sent to all 736 MEPs to raise awareness about the importance of this once-in-a-decade opportunity for reform and inform them about the different aspects of the reform proposal.


  • Call for Expression of Interest for Technical Assistance of an International Forestry Expert under the EU financed project

    WWF Caucasus Programme Office (WWF-Caucasus) in partnership with WWF-Germany, WWF-Armenia and WWF-Azerbaijan is involved in implementation of EU financed Project on Increasing the resilience of forest ecosystems against climate change in the South Caucasus Countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia) through forest transformation (Project) for 2011-2014.

    WWF-Caucasus is seeking for procurement of service contract to be concluded with International Forestry Expert to provide expert advice and guidance within a framework of the Project and therefore announces the present Call for Expression of Interest for Technical Assistance of an International Forestry Expert.

    2. ASSIGNEMENT

    For details on the assignement (scope of work, deliverebles, qualification requirements etc) please refer to the Terms of Reference in attached Tender Dossier (in PDF and Microsoft Word versions) ? Annex II (Terms of Reference) of the Draft Contract Agreement, Part B.

    3. EVALUATION

    Selected applicants will be invited to the negotiated competetive tender and asked for technical and financial offers according to the requirenments of the Tender Dossier (in PDF and Microsoft Word versions).

    Final selection of the International Forestry Expert will be made in accordance with the quality- cost based selection method (technical component and price component).

    Note:

    Expresion of Interset (EoI) is an alternative to writing a fully-fledged selection-criteria response. The EoI might be with a maximum length such as 2-3 pages. Attachement of CV is not required. The EoI will outline what the person is to do and the experience and skills needed to carry out the role.

    The EoI can be set out in a number of ways, including:

    ? A series of paragraphs covering current role, interest in the new role, examples from experience that are relevant to the skills and duties of the service/job, relevant qualifications.
    ? A series of headings, based on key skills or roles, with supporting examples.

    Whichever way is chosen to set out information in the EoI, the aim is to make a convincing case that is easily judged by the reader to mean that applicants are readily able to move into this role, will be productive quickly, bring to it something useful, will deliver outcomes.
